ICF International Awarded New $70 Million Community Transformation Grant Support Contract by the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention

ICF to Support 61 Community and State Grantees Serving 120 Million Americans

Fairfax, Virginia, October 17, 2011 -

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a new contract by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to support the Community Transformation Grant (CTG) program. The contract has a value of $70 million and a term of one base year and six option years.

The contract calls for ICF to design, implement, and manage training and technical assistance for grantees of the CTG program in order to promote sustainable changes in policies, environments, programs, and infrastructure to prevent chronic diseases and reduce health disparities.

“This continues our work in the connection between health and surrounding environmental and social determinants—the conditions of those places where individuals live, work, and play,” said Jeanne Townend, executive vice president for ICF International. “ICF is honored to support the CTG program and its community-level efforts to reduce chronic diseases such as obesity, heart disease, and stroke. We are also pleased to be able to continue our longstanding relationship with the CDC and to support its goals of saving lives and protecting people.”
